Earl Haig Leadership Council 2013-2014
To my friends of Earl Haig,
Welcome back to yet another amazing school year at one of Canada's largest schools.
Without a doubt, this year is going to be full of new surprises, bigger achievements,
and astonishing memories. You are all collectively part of the journey as we strive for
student success. Be proud! Since its establishment in 1929, our school has become
an outstanding conduit for different fields of study, including: the fine arts, athletics,
the sciences, the trades, liberal arts, and more! We offer countless opportunities for
students and staff alike to become actively involved in the education system. With
over a hundred of clubs, you can let the world know what you're passionate about.
The best part is that we want to see you succeed! Included in all these clubs and
ouncil exists The Leadership Council, one of Earl Haig's largest and most influential
councils.
The Leadership Council consists of numerous young and aspiring leaders who are
committed to enriching your entire high school experience. From your humble
beginnings as a grade nine student at LINKS, to your very last hours as a graduate
at Commencement, we are there every step of the way. We are involved in numerous
school functions such as Parent's Night, the University Fairs, various workshops, TTC
Photo Day, Orientation Day, and the Volunteer Fairs. Our members are motivated, enthusiastic, and easy to approach. We will tackle problems head-on and will leave a mark in our path. And so, we cordially invite you to join a group of like-minded individuals who will help you develop your character, skills, and personality. Come create friendships that will last a lifetime.
As we continue to adapt to the never ending changes in our society, we will also continue to succeed and work hard. We, The Leadership Executive Team, are ready to work relentlessly to make this year the best year you will ever have. We will attempt to meet every single one of you, even given the enormity of our school. We are eager to lend you a hand, so do not hesitate to ask us any questions. High school is an extraordinary experience. Do not let your grip on the endless opportunities fade away. So join one of Earl Haig's thriving student organizations to become a part of a spectacular journey that you will never forget. Join The Leadership Council.
Carpe Diem! Seize the Day!
Yours truly,
Cameron So
